Welcome to Adult Care Consultants Inc! Our tagline is “helping people blossom in community.” The word blossom invokes images of beauty, growth, and life.  The iris in particular is a symbol of hope. Combining hope and providing support is the business we are about – for our clientele and for agency staff.

Our agency was established in 1992. Its mission is to provide the best possible community based services, be it case management and/or home care. Although we serve a diversity of clients, we have developed expertise and desire to serve persons with mental illness, based on a recovery model. Our agency utilizes peer support specialists as a component of this model.

We believe that the client knows what is going to make a difference in his/her own life. We endeavor to build understanding and trusting relationships in which changes can occur. The goal is to find the minimum number of formal supports over time while simultaneously seeking to enhance the maximum number of informal supports a client utilizes. Another way of saying this is that we work with people to be as independent as possible in activities of daily living but interdependent in human relationships.

Our agency is about people working together, thereby making a tremendous difference towards the betterment of society. Our staff has unique qualities, skills and talents of their own that they in turn share with their peers, our clients, and outside agencies.  As employers we seek to promote work environments that are flexible, personable, fun and provide for personal and professional growth and autonomy.
